St. Petersburg took part in the 22nd Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Tourism and Travel”. The city was presented with a large-scale exhibition, where specialists from leading tour operators, hotels and business sites spoke about offers for tourists.
The stand presented not only programs with visits to classic and new attractions, but also the opportunities of the business tourism industry. Visitors can learn about cultural, educational, business, event, health, gastronomic and other trips. The organizers awarded the St. Petersburg exposition with a special award “Choice of the Year.”
The Convention Bureau held negotiations on cooperation with representatives of the tourism industry of Central and Southeast Asian countries, including Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam. Representatives of foreign countries expressed interest in developing interaction with St. Petersburg.
The participation of city representatives in the exhibition became part of the “Welcome to St. Petersburg!” information campaign. It is aimed at attracting guests from other countries and regions of the Russian Federation.
