Omsk road workers will carry out a major overhaul of tram tracks on Chelyuskintsev Street, between 5th North and 8th East. The press service of the mayor’s office reported this today, April 25.
Because of this, trams of routes 1, 4 and 7 will not be able to reach the terminus in Amur and will turn around at the ring at the 11th Remeslennaya stop. However, this will only affect a few evening flights: restrictions will be introduced on May 2 at 20:30. They promise to resume traffic quickly: as early as 5:30 on May 3.
The Department of Transport apologizes to passengers for the temporary inconvenience.
Earlier, another material related to public transport appeared on the Om1.ru portal. An Omsk carrier with 15 years of experience explained why minibuses were forced to raise fares. The fact is that private carriers cannot receive compensation from the budget that would cover the difference between the ticket price and the actual cost of transporting the passenger. The current cost of travel does not allow carriers to effectively conduct business.
