On November 4, 2023, the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” started in Moscow at VDNKh. Six months later, on April 25, she was visited by her 11 millionth guest – Olga Lutova from Orel.
The guest came to the exhibition with her husband Anatoly and daughters – 8-year-old Valeria and 15-year-old Sofia.
“We came to the exhibition from the Oryol region. We are very glad that we came here! Here we can look at all the regions of our country, find out details about them, and choose where to go to travel,” Olga said.
The Lutov family received gifts from the directorate of the Russia Forum and the administration of the Tomsk region. On stage they were solemnly presented with a certificate for a four-day trip to “Emerald” Tomsk.
In addition, from this day on, all guests can see large-scale updates to the exhibitions, said Natalya Virtuozova, General Director of the Russia exhibition.
It was planned that the exhibition would run for six months, until April 12, 2024. However, by decree of President Vladimir Putin it was extended until July 8.
As the Internet portal “Kuban 24” wrote, all 89 regions of Russia take part in the exhibition, each of which has its own stand dedicated to their history, characteristics, culture, and achievements. Also, the latest developments and advanced technologies are shown here by 20 of the largest Russian corporations, federal ministries and public organizations.
Up to 500 excursions and other various events will be held per day, the schedule of which can be found on the Russia exhibition website. Anyone can attend the exhibition and it is absolutely free.
