Cadets of the Ivanovo Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who helped fight the flood in Kurgan, restored the monument to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War in the Topol microdistrict.

As we reported previously , from the very beginning of the flood, residents of the Kurgan microdistrict of Topol were helped by cadets of the Ivanovo Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. They evacuated citizens, took out and moved things from houses.

Now the water has subsided, so the rescuers found time for one more important matter – they decided to leave a gift for the Kurgan people. With their own hands, young people restored the monument to soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War.

The cadets were supported by Deputy of the Kurgan Regional Duma Tatyana Khilchuk and Federal Inspector for the region Artyom Pushkin. They purchased the necessary materials and handed them over to rescuers.

– I thank Artyom Pushkin and the city administration for their investment, and thank you to the guys for their kind and useful deeds! – wrote Tatiana Khilchuk on your page on the social network VKontakte.

Governor Vadim Shumkov spoke about the restoration of monuments throughout the region. On the eve of May 9, they will be restored in all districts of the Trans-Urals.

– I remember when 5 years ago we first counted them all, took them into account and took upon ourselves the obligation to whitewash, paint, and, if necessary, repair them every year. This must be observed, – wrote head of the region in your telegram channel.
