The park season will open in Nizhny Novgorod on May 1. On this day, Nizhny Novgorod residents and guests of the Volga region capital are invited to take part in various events and attend concert performances in city parks. The details were reported in the press service of the Department of Culture.
So, the concerts will take place in Switzerland Park. The events will last from 14:00 to 22:00. In addition, there will be an opportunity to attend excursions, various master classes, games, exhibitions and much more. Those interested will be waited at special locations from 12:00 to 16:00.
Concert performances are also organized in the Svetloyarsky and Stankozavod parks. Animation programs, master classes and competitions will also be held there. For example, in the first recreation area, Nizhny Novgorod residents will be taught modern dancing, and in the second, how to play the drums. Those interested can attend the events from 12:00 to 15:00.
The “Retromay” festival (0+) will be held in Avtozavodsky Park. Townspeople are invited to take part in the festive procession, accompanied by an orchestra. The start is scheduled for 13:50. Nizhny Novgorod residents will be able to play tabletop and courtyard games on the square near the central fountain. An exhibition of Soviet household items will also be available. In addition, films will be shown especially for guests, and an animation program will be held for children in the Chipollino amusement town.
Earlier, DOMOSTROYNN.RU wrote that from April 27 to May 1, the media arts festival INTERVALS-2024 (0+) will be held in Nizhny Novgorod. A total of 17 locations will be used.
