In the Tula region, they are checking the readiness of children’s camps for the summer health season

Today, April 25, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region Olga Gremyakova held a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on the organization of recreation and health improvement for children.

— Governor Alexey Dyumin pays great attention to the development of the infrastructure of children’s camps, strengthening them logistical bases. And our task is to conduct a summer health campaign at the highest level, ensuring the safety, employment and varied leisure time of children,” said Olga Gremyakova.

Thus, Deputy Minister of Education of the Tula Region Olga Makarova reported that the summer health campaign will start on May 27. From April 15, commission visits to all stationary country health institutions are taking place. They are attended by representatives of the regional Ministry of Education and control and supervisory organs. The acceptance campaign starts on May 3 and ends on May 15.

In total, in the summer, children will be hosted by 16 country children’s camps, 360 day camps, 43 labor and recreation camps and 4 tent camps. In total, in 2024 it is planned to improve the health of at least 96 thousand children (62.8% of the total).

The head of Rospotrebnadzor for the Tula region, Alexander Lomovtsev, said that during the health campaign the agency pays great attention to the transportation of children, high-quality and safe food in the camps, preventing them from overcrowding, as well as anti-tick treatment of the territories.

At the meeting, reports were heard on the results of preparations for the summer health campaign in the Tula and Efremov camps. We also discussed holding summer specialized sessions from the “Movement of the First”.
