In the Volovsky District, water was supplied to the house of a serviceman’s mother

The head of the Volovsky municipal district, Sergei Shcheglov, told how his municipality helps the families of military personnel.

Nadezhda Fedyanina’s son Denis from the village of Gatishche has been in the combat zone in Ukraine since September 2022. He serves in a medical platoon. Their house never had running water. After the soldier’s appeal, the district decided to correct the situation. Volovsky Vodokanal employees laid about 105 meters of water supply to the Fedyanins’ house for free.

“Nadezhda is very glad that now she won’t have to carry water from a well, like in the old days. Moreover, Denis, while on his first vacation, got married, and during the second, he had a daughter,” said Sergei Shcheglov.
