Young scientists of Novosibirsk State Agrarian University participants of the WSMUiS meeting | 04/25/2024 | Novosibirsk

On April 24, a meeting of the All-Russian Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of Agrarian Universities in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts took place. The meeting was held at the training and experimental field of the Altai State Agrarian University, as part of the drone festival “AltaiAgroBAS-2024”

The event program was intense:

• Demonstration flights of agrodrones
• Excursions to the main and seventh buildings of the Altai State Agrarian University
• Tea party with tasting of Altai honey
• Meeting, discussion, voting of SMUiS chairmen

  During the meeting, the chairmen and members of the SMUiS exchanged valuable experience between agricultural universities of the Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts. Speeches and reports on the activities of the Councils of Young Scientists were heard, a new chairman of the SMUiS of agricultural universities in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts was elected, further directions for the development of their councils were determined, and the venue for the next meeting was chosen

  During the meeting, the following issues were raised: the motivation of young scientists in research and the lack of young employees.

  Young scientists from Novosibirsk State Agrarian University took part in the meeting:

• Tarasenko Ekaterina Igorevna, graduate student, assistant at the Department of Health and Wellness, media manager of SMUiS NSAU
• Vagina Tatyana Aleksandrovna, master’s student, assistant of the Department of Safety and Energy, member of the SMUiS NSAU
• Pchelnikov Alexander Vladimirovich, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor, member of SMUiS, acting. head Department of Reliability and Machine Repair, Deputy Director for Research
• Isaeva Galina Viktorovna, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Financial Technologies
• Kashapova Svetlana Viktorovna, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology and Animal Hygiene

  Alexander Pchelnikov spoke about the role of young scientists from the Engineering Institute of Novosibirsk State Agrarian University in the patent activities of the university.

  Ekaterina Tarasenko reported on the activities of the Council of Young Scientists, on the media direction and popularization of science at Novosibirsk State Agrarian University.

  Vagina Tatyana spoke about measures to support young scientists and about the possibilities of applying for Rosmolodezh grants within the framework of SMUiS.

  Isaeva Galina reported on the popularization of the scientific movement among the student community by young scientists of the university.
