In Volgograd, a contractor has been identified who will restore the memorial “Mass grave of Soviet soldiers who died during the Battle of Stalingrad” in the village of Guli Korolevoy in the Sovetsky district. The work is to be performed by Remspetsstroy LLC.

As the Volgograd administration clarified, specialists will put in order the sculptural image of a warrior and a tombstone with the names of the fallen defenders of the hero city. During the work, the memorial wall will be recreated.

Since 2022, about 50 monuments have been updated in Volgograd. The work doesn’t end there. Memorable places continue to be put in order.

For example, this year the memorials “Mass grave in which militia soldiers of the Barrikady plant who died during the defense of Stalingrad”, “Grave of Komsomol partisan S. Filippov”, “Mass grave of Soviet soldiers and workers”, located on cemetery in the village of Dar Gora and others.

Let us remind you that in Volgograd the mass grave on Bald Mountain will be restored. Specialists will clean the concrete surface of the tombstone from dirt. It will be necessary to clean the image of the Order of the Patriotic War from the old paint and use a special compound to repair the chips.
