Kurgan students took part in the environmental forum in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – New World

Students of Kurgan State University took part in the XXI International Environmental Action “Save and Preserve”, which took place in the city of Nizhnevartovsk, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. This was reported by the university’s press service.

— At the gathering, all participants were divided into groups to solve modern environmental problems. Our team was faced with questions about the low involvement of people in volunteering and how to increase the number of initiative people – notes the participant of the II meeting of eco-zoovolunteers Stepan Vyatchnin.

Together with the team he developed the project “Eco-initiative”, which involves the creation of a volunteer coordination center. The tasks include organizing events, improving working conditions for volunteers, and working to form a representative office. Based on the results of the design session, the project was among those recommended for implementation in Ugra and was approved by the head of Rosprirodnadzor of Ugra.
