St. Petersburg residents fly more often to Moscow, Sochi, Kaliningrad and Yekaterinburg

SAINT PETERSBURG, April 25, FederalPress. St. Petersburg authorities have listed the most popular tourist destinations. The Transport Committee clarified that in the first quarter of 2024, Pulkovo Airport served about 4.2 million people.

“The most popular destinations from the Northern capital across the country are Moscow, Sochi, Kaliningrad and Yekaterinburg,” the media write, citing the city transport committee.

Among international flights, the leaders were Istanbul, Dubai, Minsk and Antalya. The ABN 24 publication clarifies that suburban trains in the Northern capital transported more than 13.8 million people from January to March.

Earlier, FederalPress wrote that the destinations where Russians prefer to travel have become known.
