In Kursk, veteran of the Northern Military District Ivan Verkholomov was awarded the Order of Courage

Special military operation veteran Ivan Verkholomov was awarded the Order of Courage. The ceremony took place at the military commissariat of the Railway District of Kursk.

The man went “behind the band” of volunteers in May last year. He performed military duty in the Bakhmut direction. He was wounded and lost his right arm. After the hospital, the fighter returned home, where his mother, wife and four children were waiting for him.

Military commissar Koba Minashvili gave the right to present the award to his Hero of the North Military District to Ivan’s wife, Olga. With a sense of pride, Olga Verkholomova pinned the Order of Courage on her husband’s chest.

The Verkholomov family is accompanied by the social coordinator of the branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, Olga Efremova, they will be provided with the necessary assistance and support on all issues.
