After the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, the flight “Tomsk – Kedrovy” was launched

The intervention of the transport prosecutor’s office led to the launch of flights on the intraregional route “Tomsk – Kedrovy”.

According to the press service of the department, an audit was carried out of the implementation of legislation on the organization of transport services for the population in the Far North and equivalent areas. During its course, it turned out that there are no regular public transport routes between Kedrov and Tomsk, so the predominant way to move passengers and cargo is by air. But it was not actually organized.

As a result, the transport prosecutor’s office made a submission to the authorized executive body of the region, after which an agreement was concluded with the Aeroprom LLC airline to provide a subsidy from the budget of the Tomsk region for air passenger transportation. Flights have been organized on the intraregional route “Tomsk – Kedrovy”.
