In a Moscow museum, a statue fell on a child and broke his spine. REN TV reports this.

The incident occurred on April 24 at the Defense Museum. An eight-year-old girl was on an excursion with her mother and classmate. At some point, the girls approached the warrior statue and pulled it by the arms; it fell on one of the schoolgirls. She was hospitalized.

At the hospital, the girl was diagnosed with a fracture of two lumbar vertebrae and a bruised finger.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
