There will be no traditional procession of the “Immortal Regiment” in Petrozavodsk this year. The action will be held online, official sources said.

On Victory Day in the capital of Karelia at the intersection of Karl Marx Avenue and Kirov Street there will be a thematic platform “Immortal Regiment. Karelia”, organized by the regional branch of the movement. From 11:30 to 17:00, citizens will be able to clarify information about relatives who fought during the Great Patriotic War in the region.

The event will be broadcast on the website polkrf.ru. Those who have previously uploaded portraits of veterans will be able to see them during the online procession. If not, you can upload the photo now. Also, from May 1 to May 12, you can talk about veterans on social networks by adding the hashtag ourImmortalRegiment .
