Today, April 25, a ceremonial formation took place in Bryansk at the Specialized Fire and Rescue Unit. The event was timed to coincide with the 375th anniversary of the Russian fire service.
Vladimir Aleshin, Deputy Head of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, congratulated the employees. The best firefighters were given departmental awards and letters of gratitude.
At the end of the ceremonial part, the head of the fire and rescue department, Mikhail Kalin, laid a time capsule with a message to descendants. It will open in 2049, on the 400th anniversary of the fire department.
