Russian President Vladimir Putin will speak in St. Petersburg at the Council of Legislators on April 26, TASS reports citing Dmitry Peskov.
“He will speak tomorrow,” the Kremlin representative replied.
The meeting will be held at the Tauride Palace. “Members of the Council will discuss current issues of increasing the birth rate and supporting families with children,” says the State Duma publication.
This year’s Council of Legislators in St. Petersburg opened today, April 25. On the first day, representatives of the regions signed more than 20 cooperation agreements.
Chairman of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly Alexander Belsky noted that thanks to this event, parliamentarians have the opportunity to discuss joint cooperation and establish new working contacts.
