Raids on places where migrants are in large numbers are carried out by employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region. This time, the illegal immigrants were sent from the teahouse to a special detention center for foreign citizens.

Police officers with the support of the special forces of the Russian Guard began to inspect canteens for immigrants from Central Asia. The footage of the operational video shows foreigners lying on the floor in one of the catering establishments of the capital of Siberia.

Migration legislation checks are carried out in places where foreign citizens gather in the Leninsky and Kalininsky districts.

During one of these raids, two offenses were identified under Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation by a foreign citizen of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation), three under Article 18.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (illegal employment by a foreign citizen in the Russian Federation) and one under Part 1 of Article 19.27 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (submission of false information when carrying out migration registration).

“The violators were placed in a special temporary detention facility for foreign citizens for subsequent expulsion from the Russian Federation,” reports the official channel of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

Massive checks of the legality of the stay of foreign citizens in the capital of Siberia continue. The other day, 10 migrants were brought to the military registration and enlistment office from car washes on Zhukovsky Street. Over the past week, law enforcement officials identified 38 Russian citizens from among former labor migrants who were not registered with the military.

In the first days of 2024 alone, eight migrants who received Russian citizenship but had not yet served in the army were registered with the military.
