In Volgograd, a 19-year-old boy, who on the evening of April 24 on the street. Lermontov was hit by a traffic police crew and placed in hospital under medical supervision. As the young man’s grandmother Lyudmila Bondarenko told the Height 102 news agency, doctors diagnosed her grandson with a head injury. However, she clarifies, it was only possible to achieve hospitalization today.
– Last night my grandson was getting ready for work. At that moment, when he was crossing the road, intending to board a bus that was standing at a stop, he was hit by a patrol car. One of the eyewitnesses immediately rushed to help him. The police also took out a first aid kit, administered first aid and called an ambulance.,” explained Lyudmila Vasilievna. – Victor was taken from the scene of the accident to hospital No. 25.
According to the woman, the guy spent six hours in the yellow zone of the reception department. At 10 p.m., the victim’s parents learned that their son was being sent home.
– The daughter was not allowed into the emergency room; they said that Victor would be hospitalized. But then, when I started calling the emergency room at ten o’clock in the evening, they said that they would now fill out the documents and let him go home. In response to my indignation, the staff stated that they saw no reason to leave my grandson in the hospital. They say that he had an ultrasound of the internal organs, a CT scan of the head, stitches, and then he can be observed in the clinic, – says the grandmother of the injured guy.
Having received the discharge, Victor’s parents took him home. However, at night he became ill.
– My grandson was vomiting and his head still hurts. In addition, blood was gushing from his stitched wound all night. When we arrived at clinic No. 2 today, the traumatologist began to say that she didn’t see anything wrong and suggested going for dressings every two days. However, when she examined him in the dressing room, she ordered him to appear tomorrow, continues Lyudmila Bondarenko. – We decided to call an ambulance to the clinic and got our grandson taken to the hospital again.
Ultimately, according to the Volgograd resident, the guy injured in the accident was hospitalized in the neurosurgery department of hospital No. 25.
– Tomorrow he should be examined by the attending physician. We really hope that they will do an MRI. Our grandson already had a head injury as a child, and now we are afraid of any complications, – the woman concludes.
According to Lyudmila Bondarenko, police officers have already contacted the guy’s parents and offered their assistance. The family, meanwhile, found a lawyer in case of proceedings regarding this accident. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd Region reports an inspection, based on the results of which a decision will be made.
Let us remind you that, according to eyewitnesses, the collision of a traffic police car with a 19-year-old guy occurred at the moment when the officers noticed a violation of the traffic rules by the driver of a concrete mixer and went after him. The young man was crossing the road when the light was green.
