Workers from the prosecutor’s office checked the quality of palliative care in one of Lipetsk’s healthcare institutions. There were some violations identified.

According to the press service of the Lipetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office,

– contrary to the requirements of the law, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, a neurologist, a medical psychologist, and a senior nurse of a specialized department did not undergo training in the relevant additional professional programs.

“Assistance is provided to 32 terminally ill children. However, its quality is questionable,” the supervisory authority comes to disappointing conclusions.

In this regard, a representation was made to the head physician of the institution with a demand to immediately eliminate the identified violations and bring the perpetrators to disciplinary action.

“The review of the prosecutor’s response has been taken under control,” the press service emphasized.
