Repairs in the long-suffering Pavlovsky Park in Yaroslavl are again delayed

For several weeks now, social networks have been discussing the recently laid tiles, which have gone viral. Residents are not happy: the improvement of their favorite vacation spot continues for the second year. And it looks like the work won’t be completed this spring. Dmitry Voronov understood the situation.

Pavlovsky Park is a place where families with children and grandparents walk. Last year they promised to lay high-quality tiles here, but they still haven’t completed the work they started.

Voiceover: The design idea did not impress the residents of Yaroslavl. The townspeople decided to show it on social media. networks, how the freshly laid tiles lay in Pavlovskaya Grove. The result upset those people who like to walk in the park. Some are already beginning to be indignant: it is dangerous for children to move along such undulating paths.

– No, of course it’s not normal. Now we are talking about exactly the same thing, that in three months each cube will stick out separately. Well, children can’t ride a bike, or roller skate, or anything.

But the complaints don’t stop there. Residents are unhappy that there are fallen trees in the park and the places where the roots pass are filled with gravel. Townspeople believe that the park should not turn into a warehouse for construction materials.

– Look at those linden trees that are 130 years old. And in general, they covered it all with gravel, the roots bound them. Now everything here has been filled with cement, these tiles are of poor quality.

– If you saw, there are a lot of fallen trees, we walk here every day with our grandson. The park itself is very beautiful. It’s a shame that a contractor does this kind of work.

The authorities say that the tiles were laid in winter with the expectation that everything would be redone closer to summer.

Stanislav Trubachev, director of the MKU “Agency for Municipal Order of Housing and Public Utilities of the Yaroslavl City Hall”:
– The work was carried out in winter. The tiles were laid without following technology. And it was laid out so that it would be more comfortable for residents to pass through in the winter, so that there would be no gullies or holes. And the contractor did this consciously, knowing that he would have to redo it. Therefore, it was expected that there was a failure. And the contractor will have to redo these types of work.

Work is currently underway; sand and building materials are being transported to the beginning of the park. But they try not to make noise – the birds have begun nesting. To the chagrin of residents, renovations will only be able to fully continue in the summer.
