At the end of April, the regional stage of the all-Russian competition “Teacher of the Year” ended in the Tambov region. Throughout the month, 30 of the best teachers in the region competed in professionalism, becoming winners of the municipal stages. The competition brought together teachers of history and social studies, biology and chemistry, Russian language and literature, physics and mathematics, foreign languages, computer science, physical education, music, life safety and primary school teachers.
On April 23, the final test “Word to the Teacher” took place, following which the winners of the regional round were named. Eight teachers became the best, the youngest of whom, according to the regional Ministry of Education and Science, is 26 years old, and the oldest is 53 years old.
The winners of the competition were:
– music teacher of Tsninsky school No. 1 in Tambov Ekaterina Vasilyeva;
– English teacher at the Morshansk gymnasium Anna Goncharova;
– teacher of Russian language and literature at the Umet Agricultural Engineering School named after. Hero of Socialist Labor P. S. Pleshakova Elena Zharikova;
— primary school teacher of the Nizhnespassky branch of the Verkhnespassky school of the Rasskazovsky district Elena Mironova;
– geography teacher of Tokarev school No. 1 Galina Muryleva;
– mathematics teacher of the Ivanovo branch of the Satin school of the Sampur district Anastasia Mysina;
– teacher of history, social studies, literature, school No. 7 in Michurinsk, Mikhail Tsukanov;
– teacher of mathematics and physics at the Bondar school Galina Shubenkova.
The names of the absolute winner and prize-winners of the competition will be announced on May 22 at a gala event dedicated to the closing of professional teaching skills competitions in the Tambov region.
