Despite sanctions and the “cancellation” of Russian culture in Western countries, its popularity around the world has grown exponentially in recent years, and Russia is becoming increasingly attractive to young foreigners. Political scientist, member of the Digoria Expert Club Daria Gribova reported this to RIAMO.
“In the emerging multipolar world, in a few years, those who are now representatives of the younger generation will play a special role. In particular, a special increase in youth is observed in the once colonial countries, which are now not inferior in their development to the former colonialists, including thanks to talented young people,” the political scientist said.
In this regard, Russia actively takes part in the development of youth from all over the world, becoming a platform for festivals, sports games and other events.
“The recently held World Youth Festival brought together 188 participating countries, and the BRICS 2024 games are planned to be hosted by at least 50 countries around the world. Such events act as platforms for exchanging experiences and developing competencies in a variety of areas,” added Gribova.
