In the occupied part of the Kherson region, two Russian servicemen suspected of killing four people in the villages of Podo-Kalinovka and Abrikosovka were detained. Kommersant reports this.

The detainees’ names are Alexander Osipov and Alexander Kaygorodtsev. According to the publication, they confessed to the murder and wrote a confession.

In one of the houses in Podo-Kalinovka, police officers found the body of a woman. According to preliminary data, she was killed by shots from a Kalashnikov assault rifle. Then, to hide traces of the crime, the criminals doused the body with fuel and threw a grenade. The explosion caused a fire.

The servicemen were detained in hot pursuit, writes Kommersant. They said that in the neighboring village of Abrikosovka they killed their colleague and another woman, whose corpses were also burned and blown up. One of the victims was the head of the administration of the village of Abrikosovka, Lyubov Tymchak.

Kommersant notes that in connection with her death, three days of mourning were declared in the Aleshkinsky municipal district. It was reported that the woman could have become a victim of shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The detainees, according to preliminary data, served in the 144th motorized rifle brigade. Alexey Kaygorodtsev is originally from the Novosibirsk region. He was convicted of murder, and while serving time in a colony, he received another one for participation in drug trafficking.

The Baza Telegram channel writes that the detained Russian soldiers are suspected of killing five people. The dead were two women (including the head of the village) and three men (two of whom were military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces).

In turn, RIA Novosti reports the detention of two suspects in the murder of seven people in the village of Abrikosovka. At the same time, the agency’s source in the security forces denies that the detainees served in the 144th motorized rifle brigade. According to the agency, the suspects wanted to settle in Abrikosovka, but the head of the village said that there were no empty houses. After that she was killed.

The suspects burned two houses using fuel and grenades, and also tried to set fire to another, RIA Novosti writes. Among the dead are the owner of one of the houses, three local residents and, presumably, “two security officials who became victims of indiscriminate shooting.”
