District police officers, together with employees of the migration department in the Rybnovsky district, established that a 60-year-old resident of the village of Novoselki was involved in organizing the fictitious registration at his place of residence of 4 citizens of one of the Central Asian countries aged 29 to 34 years. In fact, foreign citizens lived elsewhere.

The investigator of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Rybnovsky district opened a criminal case under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Fictitious registration of a foreign citizen is punishable by a fine in the amount of 100 to 500 thousand rubles, or forced labor for up to 3 years, or imprisonment for up to 3 years.

Over the past 24 hours, as a result of inspection activities to suppress violations of migration legislation, police officers in Ryazan and several districts of the region identified 54 different offenses.

Basically, administrative protocols are drawn up in relation to foreign citizens regarding their violation of the rules of stay on the territory of the Russian Federation or illegal performance of labor activities. Administrative materials have been filed against 5 employers in connection with the illegal recruitment of migrants to work.

Violators face severe penalties.
