For the first time, Voronezh residents Irina and her daughter Olga played the lottery on New Year’s Eve. The winnings on three tickets then turned out to be insignificant. Then they purchased tickets again. And voila – the winnings amounted to 2 million rubles, as reported on the lottery organizer’s website. And it was my grandmother who advised me to buy lottery tickets for women.
Irina said that at first she did not believe in such a big win and called her daughter Irina to double-check the crossed out numbers on the lottery website. And she was finally convinced of her luck only when the women arrived from Voronezh to the Moscow lottery center for registration.
Irina said that she works as an operator at the post office, is raising a little granddaughter, and loves to knit. Olga works in a bank and is engaged in personnel selection, but now she is on maternity leave to care for a child. The family plans to use part of the money they win to pay off the mortgage, and the rest will be put aside for future needs.
