One of the founders of entrepreneurship in Voronezh celebrates his 67th birthday

Today’s birthday boy has made a significant contribution to uniting the efforts of small and medium-sized businesses to defend their rights.

On April 25, Sergei Dmitrievich Naumov, chairman of the Voronezh branch of the “Support of Russia” association, celebrates his 67th birthday. For our region, he is a fairly well-known figure. It was he who, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, participated in the formation of Voronezh entrepreneurship and establishing a dialogue between business and government.

Sergei Naumov was born in 1957. In 1981 he graduated from the Voronezh State Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Aircraft Engineering. After receiving his diploma, he worked as an engineer at an aircraft plant (now VASO). Since 1987, Sergei Dmitrievich switched to party and public work.

In 1991, when the USSR gave up its life, Naumov began to engage in entrepreneurial activities. In 2001, he initiated the creation of a local branch of “Support of Russia”. In the same year, today’s birthday boy became the first laureate of the Golden Fund of the Voronezh Region award in the Entrepreneurship category.

Then in 2007, Naumov received the insignia “For Services to the Voronezh Region.” He was repeatedly awarded with certificates of honor and letters of gratitude from the regional government and the governor. He has a certificate from the Minister of Economy. Received the honorary sign “Gratitude from the land of Voronezh.”

The last thing that Sergei Naumov became known for was that he initiated the creation of the Peter the Great’s Ships museum.
