The “Victory Motor Rally” took place in Nizhny Novgorod. It started on Lenin Square and ended in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. The news agency Vremya N reported this on Thursday, April 25, with reference to the press service of the IC NRO United Russia.
“The Pobeda cars, which were the first in the convoy today, are a symbol of the Great Victory and the feat of our heroes. My grandfather, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, captain of the first rank, had such a car. And when I was very little, he took me for rides on it,” shared the head of the executive committee of the regional branch of United Russia, Alexey Antonov.
The convoy included cars such as GAZ-67, Moskvich-403 and GAZ-21.
Earlier, the St. Petersburg Diary wrote about how a festive car rally took place in Melitopol.
