Igor Rudenya: construction projects of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Tver region will be completed on schedule

On April 25, the Rossiya 24 TV channel Tver hosted a live broadcast with the participation of the governor of the Tver region.

One of the topics was the fate of large social facilities that are being built in the Tver region by structures of the Russian Ministry of Defense after the arrest of Timur Ivanov.

According to Igor Rudeni, the regional government is keeping the situation with the construction of these facilities under close control and the known events in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will not affect the progress of work.

First of all, we are talking about a football arena in Tver, which is being built by the Military Construction Company (VSK). According to the governor, additional forces will be involved in the construction of the arena in May, and the pace of work will be accelerated. VSK has been tasked with commissioning this large sports facility by the end of this year.

The construction of a children’s clinic in Torzhok is also underway, which is also scheduled to be put into operation this year.

– Everything is on schedule. The interior decoration is currently underway. There is no doubt that this children’s clinic will open its doors to young visitors as scheduled.,” noted Igor Rudenya.

A separate issue is the fate of apartment buildings built by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for military personnel, but which have not yet been put into operation due to a number of shortcomings. This is housing in Tver (Migalovo), Torzhok and ZATO Ozerny.

– Now we are negotiating with the Ministry of Defense so that these unfinished houses will be given to the government of the Tver region. We will eliminate all shortcomings at our own expense, put this housing into operation and provide apartments to our waiting listssaid the governor.

During the broadcast, Igor Rudenya also covered in detail the progress of construction of the Western Bridge and the regional children’s clinical hospital, shared the results of his working trip to the Rzhev Municipal District and spoke about the implementation of investment projects in the region.
