The Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and the Whoosh service will hold joint events aimed at preventing accidents and improving the legal culture of drivers of personal mobility devices. According to the Whoosh press service, the joint exercise plan has already been approved.

“The events will be held throughout the season and will include joint raids, training sessions for SIM drivers, lectures on traffic rules for SIM in educational institutions and children’s health camps in St. Petersburg and the region. In total, more than 20 events are planned from April to October 2024,” the statement says.

The first events took place today, April 25. This was a joint raid in Murino and a traffic safety lesson at the Murino Education Center No. 1.

The company noted that the most important condition for using scooters is knowledge of traffic rules. Also, all drivers must be aware of their responsibility to other road users.
