The family of a Yaroslavl soldier who died during the Northern Military District was presented with a state award

By decree of President Vladimir Putin, senior lieutenant Vladislav Makarov was posthumously awarded the Star of the Hero of Russia for heroism, courage and bravery shown in the performance of military duty during a special military operation. The ceremony was held with full military honors. On November 3, 23, Vladislav Makarov, while performing a combat mission, saved two comrades at the cost of his life. He served as deputy battery commander. The presentation of the state award to the widow and mother of the Hero took place at the Yaroslavl Higher Military School of Air Defense, where he studied 4 years ago.

The ceremony was attended by the Hero’s relatives and friends, the leadership and staff of the Yaroslavl Higher Military School of Air Defense, and representatives of the regional government.
