He was found guilty of receiving a large bribe. The court found that the man, being the head of the production and technical department of passenger motor transport enterprise No. 1 of Yaroslavl, from February 18 to July 22, received from the head of the regional sales department of a commercial organization more than 340 thousand rubles for assisting in concluding agreements between PATP and commercial organization for the supply of goods and acceleration of payment under contracts. The bribe amount was confiscated in favor of the state. The verdict of the Kirovsky District Court of Yaroslavl in relation to both is identical – the men will go to jail for the same term and must pay thousands of fines.

Olga Kozlova, press secretary of the Yaroslavl regional court:

“Sergey Rachila was found guilty of receiving a large bribe by an official, he was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment in a high-security correctional colony, with a fine in the amount of a single bribe amount – 341 thousand rubles, with deprivation of the right to hold positions for civil service and local government for a period of 5 years.”
