Governor Pavel Malkov spoke about them:

“In February last year, we launched a science and technology center on behalf of the President. We work in partnership with the Russian Government, Moscow Aviation Institute, Roscosmos, Rostec. A lot has been done over the past year, but much more remains to be done.

Ryazan Aerospace Valley includes projects in the field of aerospace, biomedical, information technologies, electronics and radio engineering. 60 high-tech domestic companies became residents. A third of them are from Ryazan.

One of the main areas is drones; 17 companies are involved in it. Based on the valley, we are participating in a new national project to create an industry for unmanned aerial systems. We are creating a research and production center “Protos” on the basis of the Protasovo airfield. This year we will build a pilot station for testing and producing components for drones.

Together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Association of Clusters and Technoparks, we are working on the creation of a valley technopark in the area of the village of Varskie near Ryazan. Design work is already underway. The infrastructure will allow residents to quickly create prototypes and launch them into series.

We are completing the creation of a community center for the valley. It will allow Ryazan companies to use the production capabilities of residents and partners of the valley for the development and small-scale production of products.”
