Contemporary art performed by the capital’s artist Vladimir Vinogradov was presented at the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts. Using a combination of bright colors, smooth and broken lines, the artist himself most often reveals the theme of relationships between men and women. But the viewer can see another story.

Vinogradov’s exhibition is called “Temporal parallels“. This is a combination of art and philosophy. The artist formalizes his philosophical thought into a pictorial image. In some paintings, objects and characters can be traced relatively clearly, in others the image is more abstract.

The works at the exhibition are made on canvases of different sizes. Acrylic paints are mainly used. When designing the exhibition, museum staff followed the author’s recommendations. In his opinion, the arrangement of works in a certain sequence also helps in the correct perception of this art direction.

Exhibition curator Elena Sandakova: “We are preparing various exhibitions for our viewers. Some people like contemporary art. This exhibition just meets the demand “modern Art”. It must be said that it is not necessary to be an expert, it is not necessary to understand. Everything is based on perception.”

During the opening of the exhibition, the artist shared the secrets of the process of creating his works. And emotions, contrary to popular belief, are not in the first place in them. The paintings also have a certain structure. And there are clear stages in writing them. Vladimir Vinogradov will talk in more detail about the technique of “temporal art” at a master class that will be held as part of the “Night of Museums”.
