Wheat was sent from the Kaliningrad region to Venezuela for the first time. This was reported by the regional Rosselkhoznadzor.

The weight of the batch is 30.5 thousand tons. The wheat will be delivered to Venezuela by sea.

“Employees of the Kaliningrad branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “ARRIAH” carried out all the necessary laboratory tests. It has been established that regulated products fully comply with the phytosanitary requirements of Venezuela. The department issued five phytosanitary certificates for food wheat,” the statement says.

Regional authorities have approved the release of Kaliningrad canned food for duty-free export.
