The second stage of major renovation of Lenin Street will soon begin in the regional capital. The specialists will begin work on May 1, the press service of the Tyumen administration reports.
First of all, the contractor will install utility networks. Among them are water supply, sewerage, heat and electricity supply, as well as storm sewerage.
Subsequently, specialists will replace the current sidewalk material with decorative paving stones and tiles, and will also provide space for a bicycle lane. At the same time, new pedestrian fencing and lights will be installed along the entire perimeter of the road.
In addition to major repairs, specialists will also improve the areas adjacent to the street. They will exhibit small architectural forms, benches, and new trash cans. Trees will also be planted and existing stopping points will be replaced with “smart” stops.
The total length of the street reconstruction is 2.6 kilometers. The project implementation process is divided into three stages. On May 1 this year, the second of them will begin: from Krasin Street to Pervomaiskaya Street.
