In Sevastopol, Victory Day will be celebrated without large-scale public events. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev stated this.

As a RIA Novy Den correspondent reports, such large-scale mass events as the parade and procession of the Immortal Regiment were abandoned for security reasons.

Therefore, the holiday atmosphere will be created through local events: concerts, meetings with veterans, exhibitions.

Let us add that this year on May 9, Sevastopol will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city from the Nazis. All hero cities of Russia will join in the celebration of this memorable date.
