In St. Petersburg it will be prohibited to leave scooters outside special parking lots

Deputy Chairman of the Transport Committee of St. Petersburg Dmitry Vanchkov spoke about how the number of kick-sharing electric scooters in the Northern capital will be regulated.

Vanchkov said that in the future, special mixed parking for bicycles and scooters will appear in St. Petersburg, outside of which it will be prohibited to leave personal mobility equipment.

Such parking will be free, but the agreement that will need to be concluded with the Property Relations Committee will involve a fee, Dmitry Vanchkov emphasized.

It is noted that owners of scooters left outside the designated areas will be fined.
