On the eve of May Day, the Volgograd Regional Trade Union Council summed up the results of the annual competition among enterprises and organizations of the region “The Best Collective Agreement”. Today, the winners were presented with awards in a solemn ceremony.

This is the third annual competition held by the regional tripartite commission for the regulation of social and labor relations. Its main goal is the development and strengthening of social partnership. There is a whole set of criteria by which the quality of a collective agreement is determined.

Such guarantees are included in it not only those that are provided for by the labor code, but also additional measures to support enterprise employees, and it should be noted that our employers are very responsible; they do everything that is required by law, but also take care of the team members and this work is being built together with trade union organizations,” she emphasized Tatyana Genze, Chairman of the Volgograd Regional Council of Trade Unions, Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Volgograd Region.

The results of the competition were summed up collegially with the participation of representatives of the regional tripartite commission for the regulation of social and labor relations.

We have a special honorable mission to reward those who, with complete dedication, understand what the rights of labor collectives are, so that the entire labor collective rallies around one employer and the result works, this was precisely the task of collective labor agreements and, in fact, everyone who is present in this room , – noted Anna Pisemskaya, Deputy Governor of the Volgograd Region.

Every year more and more enterprises and organizations participate in the competition. This year, based on the selection results, 16 winners in various categories received awards. The diploma of the winner of the regional competition in the category “Effective collective agreement is the basis of social partnership” was awarded to the management of the Joint Stock Company “FSPC Titan-Barricades”.

Believe me, this honorary award was the result of the fruitful work of the employer’s representatives and representatives of the trade union committee and was solely aimed at creating favorable working conditions, respecting the interests, of course, of the social and legal protection of our workers,” commented Natalya Malyugina, Deputy General Director of JSC FSPC “Titan Barricades”.

We have a social block, material assistance, that is, in monetary terms, the provision of certain days for vacation, for certain family matters, we are improving the health of workers, enterprise employees, at the expense of voluntary health insurance funds,” he said Gennady Stepanov, chairman of the primary trade union organization of JSC FSPC “Titan Barricades”.

The winners were determined in 11 competitive nominations: “Development of Youth Policy”, “Development of Social Partnership”, “Protection of Economic Rights and Interests of Workers”, “Labor Health and Industrial Safety”, “Development of the Institute of Mentoring”, “Protection of Labor Rights of Workers”, “Ensuring rights and guarantees for the activities of the trade union organization”…

We have known about this competition for a long time, but we participated in it for the first time, and this coincided with the fact that we just updated our collective agreement, which we are drawing up together with our trade union committee, including this year we provided for an increase in social measures support for target students, because we are trying to attract new employees,” shared Anna Osyko, chief physician of Children’s Clinical Dental Clinic No. 2.

Increasing the standard of living of the population, creating conditions for the realization of citizens’ rights to decent work, rising wages, workplace safety, protection of labor and social rights – all these are the tasks of social partnership, which in the region are achieved through the joint efforts of trade unions, the executive branch and employers.
