In Rostov, according to tradition, memorial sites, monuments and memorial complexes dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War began to be put in order. About this in my telegram channel reported city manager Alexey Logvinenko.

It is noted that in total cleanup work was carried out at 25 sites. On Theater Square, the granite steps leading to the stele were repaired. Work is also currently being carried out on the memorial complex “Defenders of the Rostov Sky” in Aviator Park.

— The anti-aircraft gun from the monument to the “Anti-Aircraft Gunners of the Sky” on Vsesoyuznaya Street has been temporarily dismantled and is participating in retro train “Victory”. The restoration of the anti-aircraft gun has been completed. The Center for Monument Protection will carry out repairs to the pedestal. The restored anti-aircraft gun will be returned to its original location no later than May 8,” added city manager.

According to Logvinenko, the cladding on the monument to the feat of the battery of Sergei Oganov and Sergei Vavilov (the intersection of Oganov and Vavilov streets) will also be repaired.

The work is scheduled to be completed by May 2.

Earlier, Notepad Rostov wrote that in Rostov-on-Don On May 9, the parade will most likely take place without spectators.
