Author of State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “TAMBOV” The criminal case against the Tambov resident, who was accused of treason, has been put to rest.
As we were informed by the FSB Directorate for the Tambov Region, the person involved in the case wanted to enlist in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and he himself offered his services to one of the national formations of the “Nezalezhnaya”, with whose representatives he corresponded. He tried to get to Ukraine through Turkey, but his plans were thwarted by FSB operatives who detained him last summer. It is known about the traitor that he was born in Alma-Ata in 1985, but has Russian citizenship, is not married, does not work, and has incomplete higher education. In preparation for leaving for the combat zone, I trained intensively to maintain physical fitness. Studied literature on tactical medicine, field fortification, weapons and military equipment. If he successfully crossed the Russian border and arrived in Ukraine, he intended to participate in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against Russia.
By a verdict of the Moscow Regional Court he was found guilty of committing the crime charged. He was sentenced to 9 years 6 months of imprisonment to be served in a high security correctional colony, as well as restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year 6 months. By the ruling of the First Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, the sentence was left unchanged and entered into legal force,
