A serial killer who strangled a 60-year-old woman was caught in Moscow. The Telegram channel reported this on Thursday, April 25 SHOT.

The Muscovite was married. Her husband allowed her to communicate with other men if she always spent the night at home and warned about her trips in advance.

A woman met a 43-year-old user of a dating app. The couple kept in touch. At the end of November 2023, a man invited a resident of the capital to his dacha. She warned her husband about the trip, but did not return. The husband called her boyfriend, who said that he was also concerned about her disappearance.

The missing person was put on the wanted list. The dacha was searched, but nothing was found.

Six months later, investigators re-inspected the area and arrested the man. He admitted that he strangled the woman, buried her body, and erased her fingerprints.

It was established that in 2006 the killer stabbed to death three people, including a woman and a child. The criminal was sentenced to 18 years in prison, after which he was released in the spring of 2023.
