There are key details for decorating the festive table – these are Easter cakes and chicken eggs. The rest can be added according to taste and discretion, says florist, author of the blog “Fedorova_Flower” on VKontakte Svetlana Fedorova.

According to her, first you need to cover the table with a tablecloth, giving preference to natural materials such as linen, cotton, muslin or burlap.

“The tablecloth itself may have a design of hares, chickens or flowers. You can complement it with a runner (runner) made of fabric of a different color, with a matching shade, which will cover a small area of ​​the table in the center”, notes the florist in a conversation with Gorsayt.

After creating the base, you can start serving. The key dishes of the Easter holiday are usually placed in the center of the table. The expert recommends placing the eggs in a decorative basket or special stand. You can create your own wreath from hay, twigs or willow branches. It will imitate a bird’s nest. Serving eggs this way will attract the attention of loved ones and guests.

Serving with plates, napkins, cutlery and drink mugs will also look great.

“Along the edges of the table or closer to the center, you can place a vase with a bouquet of dried flowers in bright yellow flowers, green shades, or place a small pot with a flowering plant, such as hyacinth, daffodil or tulip“, the florist recommends.

Svetlana Fedorova advises making a decorative composition with fresh flowers and adding moss to the base. This will add natural motifs of awakening spring flora.

“Additional decor in the form of candlesticks with candles, figurines in the shape of cute animals: bunnies, cows, chickens, will add even more coziness to the festive table and to the general family atmosphere,” notes the interlocutor.
