A man who stole a bathtub and an electric stove from an apartment in the Krasnogvardeisky district was convicted in St. Petersburg. Everyone was surprised by the poems of his own composition, which the St. Petersburg resident read in the last word.

The head of the joint press service of the courts, Daria Lebedeva, said in her tg channel that the incident occurred in March last year: Dmitry Artamonov fled with the stolen goods, and even managed to sell it for scrap. The damage amounted to 10 thousand rubles.

“To steal a bathtub and an electric stove from the 19th floor and disappear with them in an unknown direction, in my opinion, you need to have a certain talent. At the court hearing, it turned out that Dmitry is also a poet, Daria emphasized.

Before Dmitry was taken away from the courtroom, he read poetry. In his work, the St. Petersburg resident noted that we all make mistakes and pay for them with time.

– Here I stand before you, you will judge me.

And the verdict will be broadcast with my lips, I will listen to you, judge.

And I won’t say nasty words to you, I won’t utter curses,

I am ready to cry for my sins, I am not a supporter of understanding them.

Also in the poem, the accused asked to be given one last chance, wished the judge well and happiness for the children, and gave the man his word. The court assessed the last chance as 2 years 8 months in a general regime correctional colony.

Earlier, 78.ru wrote that a man who stole three bottles of whiskey and a bottle of cognac from a store in Kupchino will appear in court. The accused faces up to five years in prison.
