A local entrepreneur made a model for diving, spearfishing and water sports from neoprene – a thin, light, soft and elastic material.

The products of the Don manufacturer are expected at a large all-Russian exhibition, the Don government said.

“The quality of Rostov wetsuits is not inferior to those of famous European brands. And the cost is 40% lower. And the companies left the Russian market. The material itself is modern and durable. It allows you to increase gliding speed and freedom of movement in the water due to its low drag coefficient. Models in Rostov are created taking into account the client’s anatomical parameters,” said entrepreneur Yuri Goryainov.

He noted that he could only afford to purchase such material with government support. Received preferential funding thanks to the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises” through the “My Business” center.

This is not the first time Yuri Goryainov has contacted this structure of the Rostov Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship Support.

“In the Don region there is a program to support our local brands. On behalf of the governor, their public registers and measures of specific assistance have been formed,” says the region’s Minister of Economic Development Maxim Papushenko.

He also added that almost 40% of Don entrepreneurs – recipients of loans under the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises” – are active in the field of production and agro-industrial complex.
