A student at one of the Don universities, Artem Oleksenko, received five days of administrative arrest for publishing a meme depicting Nazi symbols on a social network. This was reported by 1 rnd.ru with reference to its own source in the Soviet Court of Rostov.

News of the Rostov region

Let us remind you that an activist of the Rostov branches of the Komsomol of the Russian Federation and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation posted on his page on the social network a meme with signs of extremism – a photograph of Lenin in a Nazi cap. Other publications of an extremist nature were also found on the student’s page.

The Komsomol activist did not admit his guilt, explaining that he posted these materials at the request of a friend to increase the rating and traffic to his personal page, writes 1 rnd.ru.

Oleksenko’s party comrades note that there is an assumption that the student’s page was hacked. However, IT specialists deny this possibility. The meme was posted back in 2020 and disappeared from the page when the story became public in the media in April 2024.
