Rostov region, April 25, 2024. DON24.RU. Demobilized SVO participants should have the opportunity to get a job and receive additional professional education. Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov region Alexander Ishchenko spoke about this.

According to the speaker of the Don parliament, demobilized participants in the special operation, returning to civilian life, face a number of difficulties, including finding employment. Alexander Ishchenko said that many fighters would like to learn a new profession, receive additional professional education or improve their skills.

Therefore, the Don deputies proposed to provide in federal legislation for new support measures for SVO participants in the form of quotas for jobs and obtaining additional education if necessary. The Don deputies will turn to the federal level with a similar initiative.

“We are constantly analyzing how support measures are applied to our participants in a special military operation and members of their families, and have come to the conclusion that it is necessary to propose to our colleagues at the federal level to change the legislation regarding the employment of combat veterans who have been demobilized for one reason or another.” , – said Alexander Ishchenko.

Parliamentarians believe that it is necessary to provide a mechanism for quotas of jobs for demobilized soldiers. When returning from a combat zone, mobilized volunteers or contract soldiers must be sure that they will be able to find a job in an existing specialty or learn a new profession.

According to Ishchenko, State Duma deputy Ekaterina Stenyakina supported the proposals of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov region and is already preparing this bill. In the near future it will be submitted to the lower house of the Federal Assembly.
