The “100,000 kilometers of opportunities” motor rally will take place through Kursk on April 27. The auto expedition started on April 8 in Moscow at VDNKh. It became a record, as it covered 85 regions of Russia, including newly annexed territories.

The organizer was Russian television journalist, author and presenter of programs on automotive topics, racing driver and traveler with 25 years of experience, Andrei Leontyev.

– The participants have four main tasks: to tell the audience about the people who contributed to the development of their small homeland, to set a world record for a motor rally within the borders of one country along a unique route, to conduct a full audit of attractions, motor routes and tourist infrastructure in Russia, as well as to recreate and supplement the famous a collection of photographs by Sergei Prokudin-Gorsky, the city administration said.

The expedition will end with a photo project. A voluminous archive will be collected here in book format in online and printed versions, as well as a series of documentaries about Russia.

The finish line for motorists is expected in October in Magadan, on the shores of Nagaevskaya Bay.
