The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services and Energy of the Novosibirsk Region commented on the situation with the water supply of Berdsk, where previously residents were left without hot and, partially, without cold water. A message about this was published on the website “ksonline.ru”.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Novosibirsk Region, the condition of the reservoir from which Berdsk pumping and filtration stations take water for the city water supply is gradually improving.
Previously, as a result of flood waters from Altai, a significant amount of mud and bottom sediments entered the Ob Reservoir, which led to increased turbidity of the water. Pumping and filtration stations were unable to cope with such a load, forcing Berdsk authorities to completely turn off the hot water supply and reduce the pressure of cold water.
However, now, according to the department, the concentration of pollutants in the reservoir has decreased by a third. This allowed the local Household Services Plant to begin a phased launch of hot water supply. The situation is expected to return to normal within two days.
Let us remind you that problems with water supply in Berdsk became known at the beginning of the week. Residents of some areas of the city were even left without cold water, which they had to transport separately.
