It has become known how public transport will be organized in Ivanovo on May 1. The changes were announced by the administration of the city of Ivanovo on Thursday, April 25.
As Izvestno.ru wrote, the celebration of May 1 in Ivanovo will begin at 8:00 with a motor rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the 98th Ivanovo Airborne Division. At 10:45 the athletics run “Red Ruby in the Golden Ring” will start. The central event will be the “Working Land” athletics relay, dedicated to the celebration of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Accordingly, according to the mayor’s office, on May 1 in Ivanovo from 7:00 to 15:00 the movement of trolleybuses No. 1 and No. 9 will be stopped. Routes No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 will run until Victory Square.
For organized groups of schoolchildren, travel by trolleybus to the site of the Rabochy Krai track and field relay race will be free.
During the festive fireworks from 21:30 until the end of the event, trolleybuses of routes No. 1, 7, 8 will run along Sheremetevsky Prospekt; routes No. 3, 4, 5, 10 – to Victory Square. The movement of trolleybus No. 9 will be stopped.
“To ensure the transportation of passengers after the end of the fireworks from Pushkin Square and the Sokovsky Bridge, it is planned to extend the operation of public transport routes,” the message clarifies.
Earlier, Izvestno.ru wrote that an anniversary postcard was published in Ivanovo for the 90th anniversary of the May Day relay race “Workers’ Land”.
